Built for food service directors who are tired of clunky, expensive software.
- Free

- iPhone & Android
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
Four tabs. That's the whole app.
Today
What to cook, scaled production sheets, counts with a sign-off, temperature logs, and anything that needs your attention.
Plan
Your menu calendar. Repeat or copy weeks across sites, get the order list, share the menu with families.
Recipes
Recipes and items with cost per serving, trim loss, scaling, allergens, nutrition and stock.
Money
Profit, food and labor cost, meals per labor hour, fund balance, and "what if prices go up 10%?"
Snap it. Ask it.
📷 Snap
Take a photo of an invoice and your prices update. Snap a nutrition label or spec sheet and the item fills itself in. Snap a shelf to count stock.
🔍 Ask
"Scale tacos to 600." "What do I need this week?" "Which entrée had the most leftovers?" Type it and go.
Traffic lights, not spreadsheets
Switch any menu between Nutrition, Cost, Allergens, Targets and Waste. Every day shows against your targets for calories, sodium, saturated fat, added sugar, meal components and cost per plate. Targets start from presets for schools, senior living, campus dining or restaurants, and you can change every number.
Who it's for
K-12 school nutrition
Breakfast and lunch by grade group, meal components, sodium and added-sugar meters.
Senior living & healthcare
Three meals a day, texture (IDDSI) and therapeutic diet tags, allergen warnings.
Campus, corporate & catering
Cost per plate, "price it" for à la carte and catering, food cost %.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Everything that runs on your phone is free and stays free. If we ever add a paid plan, it will be for heavy use of the AI photo features, which cost us money to run.
Is Scoopledger USDA-approved software?
No. Scoopledger is a planning tool. Its targets are starting points you can edit, not official certification. For an Administrative Review, use the software your state agency requires.
Where is my data?
On your phone, in one file. There are no accounts. Settings → "Back up everything" saves all of it anywhere you like, and you can restore it on a new phone. See the privacy policy for what the optional AI features send.
Where do the nutrition numbers come from?
From USDA FoodData Central, manufacturer labels you snap or type in, and your own entries. Always check product labels for allergens.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Planning, costing, counts, inventory and reports all work offline. Snap, Ask AI and USDA lookup need a connection.
Can my kitchen staff use it?
Turn on Kitchen Mode and the phone shows only Today: production sheets, counts and temperature logs.
